2 Megapixel Flush Mount IP Dome PTZ Camera

This is an ONVIF IP PTZ that has a flush mountable. It mounts just like recessed lighting so that all that is visible is a the dome and the faceplate. This Network IP 2MP Pan Tilt Zoom Camera will transmit a crisp and clear 1080p resolution signal, making it a great choice in any environment from a school, office or store to a government agency. The detail is so amazing that if the authorities ever needed to see your footage due to a break-in or slip and fall lawsuit (for example), there could possibly be enough detail for a positive ID. That is one of the main benefits of high resolution 1080p TRUE HD security cameras, the fact that you can zoom in without distortion in most cases.

This 2 Megapixel PTZ has a 12x Optical Zoom and 16x Digital Zoom. There is a 1/2.8 Exmor CMOS Image Sensor and features Backlight Compensation such as BLC, HLC, and DWDR. This enables areas that are washed out with bright light to be seen. Imagine a warehouse with a garage door open and sunlight beaming in. With most cameras the whole warehouse would be washed out, but not with this camera...all will be seen.

Enabling tours and patterns is a snap through the OSD (On Screen Display) and we have included 5 patterns and 8 tours to choose from. If that is not enough, you can program your own, and if you need help with this or any other technical situations, we have included free tech support. If you require audio, you can easily connect a powered microphone to the audio-in port and the camera will send the signal through the Ethernet Cable to the NVR for recording. There is also a great feature called 3-D positioning. When you are viewing your live footage, you can draw a square on the screen with your mouse and the PTZ will automatically pan tilt and zoom to the desired view and center itself on the object. If you do not connect to our NVR, you can record directly to an SD card (max 64 Gigs, Class 4 Micro SD Card). Keep in mind that will be filled up fast, so the best choice would be to record onto a network video recorder (NVR).

Remote Viewing Made Simple

Our Megapixall IP cameras can be monitored using numerous apps for iPhone, Android, Mac and PC. The setup process is quick and easy.

Night Vision

Capture images covertly at night. Megapixall Night Vision uses infrared light (IR) that allows your surveillance system to see intruders in the dark. Megapixall Cameras use the latest high intensity IR LED technologies for maximum coverage. *IR range and image quality can be affected by surfaces that absorb or reflect the IR light differently when in total darkness. Camera location or position may need to be adjusted to optimize the images. Some ambient lighting provides the best results for night surveillance.

Pain Free Install

Megapixall has designed its system with integral features to simplify installation. Power and video are transmitted over a single cable up to 300 feet without requiring an external power source. The waterproof connections on Megapixall cameras do not require a sealed electrical box, saving time and money. At startup, cameras are initialized, video is recorded and motion detection is active. The key to a successful installation is planning. Before you make your purchase of a system, please read the PDF document titled Things to Consider Before Purchasing a Video Surveillance System. If you have any questions before or after your purchase, call the Megapixall PRO Team. Ask about our pre-made network cables!

Customer Support Videos

Megapixall offers variety of how to videos that will answer just about any question you may have! Follow our easy guides to program and use our cameras and systems. *You need an NVR if you would like to record video unless the camera has built in SD storage

Adjustable Lens

Megapixall cameras are offered in both fixed lens and adjustable lens types. Fixed lens cameras do not need to be adjusted and come focussed out of the box. Adjustable lens cameras allow you to adjust the lens manually to get a tighter or wider view depending on your needs.

One Cable Install

The cameras in the HDIP system use the same cable for both power and video. Just turn on your recorder and connect your cameras and the system automatically begins recording. Power over Ethernet (PoE) eliminates the need to run separate wires to power the camera making installation quicker and simpler. Because Eclipse recorders have a built-in PoE switch, you can run your cable directly from the camera to the recorder without any additional equipment required.
